Rebecca Peck

Rebecca Peck is a three-time BMI Award winning, Dove Award nominated songwriter who began her professional writing career in Painesville, Ohio. Since her first cuts in the 1990s, she has been blessed with nearly 1200 artist recordings, many #1 songs to her credit and numerous Top 40 songs. She has performed at the GMA writer showcase as well as oth... er industry writer events and has been a keynote speaker for the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI). In 2015 and again in 2019, Rebecca was named Professional Songwriter of the Year at the AGM awards held in Nashville, TN. She was also honored twice at the SGN Awards for Songwriter of the Year. In September 2004, Rebecca had 6 songs simultaneously in the Top 40 on the Singing News Magazine chart. In addition to Rebeccas love of many different forms of recorded Christian music, she has a special affinity for choral print church music. The Dove Award winning choral collection, High Praises, featured 3 of Rebeccas songs. Her name is on 3 songs in Word Musics all-time best selling Christmas choral collection, Christmas is Jesus, which was nominated for a Dove Award, as well as many songs in other Dove Award nominated choral collections and artist projects. Rebecca has 4 songs in the Max Lucado/Tom Fettke musical One Incredible Moment and two songs in the Max Lucado/Tom Fettke musical Known By The Scars. Her song Seek First His Kingdom was chosen as the 2003-2004 theme song for the Southern Baptist Convention. Rebecca thoroughly enjoys assisting her husband, Tom, in the publishing management of Peck Music Group. Though music is a great love in Rebeccas life, her first love is God and then her family.
