REAL has contracts to deliver services to persons with Developmental disabilities under the 0208 Waiver. This comprehensive waiver is administered by the State of Montana. Contracted services are as follows: Residential supports include all living situations such as support in a family home, support in an apartment or home. Congregate living or Gro... up living. REAL hopes to meet people where they are, and support them where they are most comfortable. Transportation, also a Waiver service can be negotiated to provide a more complete service. This includes all day activities that require support from traditional Day centers to individualized support. REAL can assist in skills acquisition, job searches, and support in interpersonal skills to assist in keeping a job. REAL can also just provide a safe and healthy place to be while primary caregivers are busy during the day. whatever the needs REAL, again, hopes to help people at their level. In many case transportation can be managed or incorporated. AMDD or Addictive and Mental Disorders Division offers Individualized services and GBMI Mental Health Group Home Placement. Developed to provide a collaborative relationship between a mental health facility and potential service provider. ultimately offsetting costs for a community provider to develop plans, visit people at the facility and offers reimbursement for trips, deposits, and upfront costs of getting people back into communities. GBMI stands for Guilty but Mentally Ill. This program offers people with a mental illness, and who have been found guilty of a crime to get back into society with oversight and support.
