REACH Consulting is managed by Sylvia Clovey, an HR professional with over 20 years HR experience mainly in the not-for-profit sector, but equally at home supporting the small business whose main objective is to make a profit. I have a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management, specialising in Organisation Development and am a Chartered Member of... the CIPD (MCIPD). On a practical level, I have managed HR departments in organisatons ranging from 60-400 staff, organisations with multiple sites across the UK and with multiple-disciplines. I have set up HR departments from scratch and worked with a range of professionals to help companies/organisations achieve their objectives, grow and succeed. I understand that each company/ organisation is different and required individual solutions. As well as working with small businesses and organisations, I also work with individuals who have issues at work, with employment contracts or contracts for service. This includes accompanying individuals to grievance and disciplinary meetings as provided for by ACAS, providing help and guidance with redundancy, help with CV writing, interview techniques and job applications. I strongly believe that the customer's needs are of the utmost importance and am committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals. I have a professional coaching qualification as a Life coach. This generally entails helping individuals determine and achieve personal goals - this could be career goals or a lifetime dream/ambition.
