Ravenscroft has supported the Christmas Toy Appeal for several years; originally in Guernsey with Island FM and since 2018 in Jersey with Channel 103. The aim of the appeal is to provide gifts for those youngsters who are less fortunate and may not get a present at Christmas. Ravenscroft, in partnership with Island FM and Channel 103, promote the a... ppeal and provide drop-off points for islanders to donate new toys and other gifts, which are then distributed to charities and individuals in time for Christmas. In 2020, the appeal was expanded to include teenagers and an additional point at Jacksons was added in both islands. The 2020 Toy Appeal saw huge support from across the islands with hundreds of gifts being donated and distributed. Given the success, and the feedback from the States' departments, charities and organisations, Ravenscroft has already committed to supporting appeal in 2021.
