Rautenbach currently operates three aircraft, an Air Tractor AT401, Air Tractor AT401B and a Piper Pawnee. All aircraft are equipped with the latest Avionics and Navigational Systems. The bulk of our work is application to sugar cane, seed maize, timber, cotton and wheat. Our clients include, Mondi Business Paper, SAPPI, Umhlatuzi Valley Sugar, Ton... gaat Hullet Sugar, Illovo Sugar and Union Co-op Ltd. The balance of our clients are private growers, who have used our services for 50 years. We are based in Stanger, Empangeni, Monzi, Greytown and the Midlands. We have found by keeping our bases close to our customers, we are able to provide the most cost effective service - all while keeping in communication and a close watch on the weather. Our company is committed to the safety of our customers, the environment and our staff. We strive to keep up with new techniques and equipment; we work closely with chemical company's, assisting in research. The aircraft are maintained by Riaan Kamfer of Sky Sprayers. Riaan is a Civil Aviation Approved operator, who has been working on our aircraft for the past 15 years and has vast experience in aircraft maintenance. Graham Smith of Aero Weld is responsible for our general maintenance. Graham is a specialized welder who provides his expertise in the maintenance of our spray systems and ground rigs.Read More
