The Raleigh Learning Trust was formed on 1st April 2017. The multi-academy trust (MAT) at its launch included the Westbury Woodlands Federation of schools and the Denewood and Unity Learning Centres. The Trust is committed to working to gain the maximum benefit for the young people of the City of Nottingham and has a strong emphasis towards Special... Educational Needs, by sharing expertise through high quality CPD events and bespoke resources. Following this successful launch, Trustees extended their local reach to support mainstream education, and were pleased to welcome Ambleside Primary School into its diverse family in 2018. Throughout this website you will gain an insight into our mission to raise aspirations and transform lives with-in our communities. Our Trust holds a deep understanding of its local communities and the challenges we face both in the City of Nottingham and indeed its surrounding boroughs. We work tirelessly to provide access and availability to the highest possible standards of teaching and learning, supported by strong staff teams equipped with outstanding resources and a vast wealth of experience. Each of our Academies has its own ethos and identity, with a shared core determination to deliver remarkable and memorable learning experiences that each and every pupil will value and benefit from now and as they progress, whatever they choose to do and be in their lives. We have a self driven determination to demonstrate that local schools, working together, can create the best conditions for all our pupils and young people, no matter what their starting point.
