Raintree Village

The residents are snowbirds, permanent residents, workers, volunteers and retirees. They are as interesting as their varied pursuits. Some fish, golf, play pickle ball, paint, read, walk, swim, gamble, garden and everyone eats. The monthly outings to local restaurants are attended by thirty or forty hungry residents. In the rustic clubhouse with fu... ll kitchen there are seasonal parties. The best attended is the Christmas party where, after a delicious meal, the residents participate in a Yankee Swap. Old rivalries and new presents create an atmosphere rife with hilarity. After all, "tis the season to be jolly". The clubhouse is also the scene of monthly potluck dinners and weekly movies. The adjoining heated pool is the place to be in the morning for aquatic aerobics. If you are looking for an active lifestyle, Raintree Village has it. If you are looking for peace and quiet, Raintree Village has it. If you are looking for a home within close proximity of the Countryside Mall, restaurants, shopping, banks and the post office, Raintree Village is that home. Twenty minutes to the airport; fifteen minutes to Clearwater Beach; and seven minutes to downtown Dunedin; this is Florida at its best.Read More
