About Rainbow Studios

Please read below for areas that I a break down my experience. For the majority of my 15-year career in the games industry, I have specialized in 3D Hard Surface and Character modeling. I use modern techniques in Maya (19 Years) and 3DS Max (16 Years) utilizing crease sets with OpenSubdiv and Quad Chamfer. I have integrated CAD modeling workflows with programs such as Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks. I am also familiar with hard surface techniques in Zbrush & Mudbox and have a background with User Interface Design, Motion Graphics and Particle FX. Since August 2020 I have been a Senior Artist at Treyarch Activision working on the newest Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War game. Before taking on my current role, I was the the Studio Art Director at Rainbow studios a THQ Nordic game studio from October 2019 to August 2020 . My role included directing the studio art team across all disciplines in the art department on multiple current and future console/PC titles while providing guidance, training and constructive feedback. I also had the responsibility of organizing meetings and production schedules while staying adaptable and fluid to needs of the team and project changes. I was Co-Art Director for "MX vs ATV All Out 2020 Pro Motocross Edition", Art Director for "Monster Jam Steel Titans 2" and Co-Art Director for a currently undisclosed future title still in production. Previous to my role as Art Director, I was a Lead Artist for the post ship DLC stage of Monster Jam Steel Titans. Before that I was Lead on all of the bike and rider models for "MX vs ATV ALL OUT" at Rainbow Studios to include DLC bikes. I defined the new Rider character model pipeline and I personally modeled 20 bikes and parts. I also oversaw and trained many of my coworkers while reviewing all assets produced by outsourcing teams for vehicles and riders. I currently work in a custom game engine that Treyarch and Activision use internally for the Call of Duty franchises.
