My name is Lisa Watson and I am the Nursery Manager here at Rainbow Nursery. My background has always been in Early Years, I went straight into college from leaving school to complete my Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Early Years. After completing this I started my career working in a small day nursery. I joined the Rainbow team in 2006, working as a nursery practitioner, after a couple of years I decided to go back into studying part time and completed my BA Hons Degree in Young Childrens Learning and Development and my Early Years Professional Status (EYPS). Since then I have been manager of the Baby Nursery, Deputy Manager of the nursery, and then took on the role of Nursery Manager in 2013. As the manager at Rainbow Nursery my role alongside the managers of the Baby Nursery , Day Nursery , Preschool and Junior Club, is to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, ensuring our policies and procedures are implemented and the children receive the highest standard of care possible.
