Raikes Barn is a luxurious boutique guesthouse in Skipton, North Yorkshire If you are looking for comfortable accommodation in the Skipton area, and prefer not to stay in ordinary hotels, bed and breakfasts or B&B, then our boutique guesthouse might just be the ticket. We have beautiful (no smoking) accommodation which includes a luxury bedroom sui... te with an adjoining private lounge. We also have a spacious double bedroom with a large en-suite bathroom. Both are furnished to a very high standard and each has the shared use of a sun lounge. Each unit is perfect for couples and special rates are available for small groups or families wishing to book both accommodations. Unfortunatley we are unable to accommodate pets. The property is very old and was originally part of a working farm which sat in the grounds of Skipton Castle. The building has many old features but has been completely refurbished to the highest modern standards. Skipton is a vibrant town with lots to do and there is no shortage of local shops, bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. Being located close to the town centre means that you are never far away from all the local amenities. Those that enjoy a leisurely stroll will like Skipton Castle Woods which are literally adjacent to Raikes Barn and visitors that prefer hiking will find Skipton the ideal base from where to explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park which is also close by.
