Radiant Hope

Radiant Hope was started by three friends as they began their own journey through cancer. Joanna was diagnosed with Stage 3 melanoma at the age of 33. She went through two major surgeries that followed with 8 months of treatment. In and out of the hospital herself, watching others struggling in their own cancer stories, Joanna and her friends saw a... great need to encourage others who were in a season of deep suffering in their lives. The friends witnessed how God was providing encouragement, support, and ultimately hope through people during this devastating season of life. One day a random act of kindness from a complete stranger deeply changed Joanna's life. A "sunshine" package was delivered to her doorstep at the perfect time. In the midst of scary and emotional season, Joanna was the first recipient of a HOPE packages. One person, many miles away, reached out this started the vision of Radiant Hope. The three friends were so touched by this, and the countless other ways that they were loved and supported, that they felt led to do the same for others whose lives have been impacted by cancer.
