RA Mechanical, Inc. (RAM) is managed day to day by its President, Randy Mercier. Randy is responsible for operations, Business Development and some Project Management & Estimating in the early years. He has over 35 years of experience in all phases of Mechanical Contracting from Field installation & management, Design, Project Management and Estima... ting. The past 18 years Randy was a 50% partner of a successful $ 30- $ 45 million/year Mechanical Contractor. Prior to that Randy was the Vice President of Marketing/Sales of another a Large Central Valley Mechanical Contractor for 6 years. We have assembled a strong and experienced team of managers to support our objectives and grow RAM. These new key manager additions will strengthen our project management, estimating, design and they will allow us to grow our client base. Don Grimes will be our Construction Manager and is primarily responsible for recruiting, managing and training RAM's field labor force, pre-fabrication, pre-installation, detailing and assist with Estimates. He is also responsible for establishing and maintaining client relationships. He has over 22 years of experience in the construction industry. He has worked with Randy for the last 10 years, 6 as a General Superintendent managing and training foremen and another 4 years as a General Foreman managing the large project labor forces. Steve Rutter joins us as a Project Manager/Design Engineer. His responsibilities are to manage specific projects from the estimate/proposal/design stages through construction to commissioning and close out. He too is also responsible for establishing and maintaining client relationships. Steve has over 5 years of experience design/build & design/assist Mechanical Contracting from design to estimating through construction and is a California Registered Engineer.
