About QuiltNutz
The QuiltNutz owner is Treese Plfum, who has been sewing since she was 10 years old. She caught the quilting bug in 1978 and continues to expand her quilting skills and techniques. As much as Treese loves making quilts, her favorite part is quilting the tops. Simple meandering to custom quilting of applique quilts, everything is fun! "There's nothing like finding the right pattern for each quilt," says Treese. "I enjoy the process, it's very relaxing..and allows my inner artist to come out and plaly. Treese is also crazy about photography, and at times, both painting and photos end up in the art quilts and accessories. Treese has also taught quilting classes for adults and kids. I have 12 assorted sewing and quilting machines. Obviously I can't use all of the at once, but gives me plenty of flexibility and options.
