Queen Street Surgery is a well established and regarded facility that provides the full spectrum of medical care by practitioners . We strive to meet the needs and expectations of your family. Like most of you, we at Queen Street surgery have also experienced a very challenging few months in terms of the worldwide Covid 19 pandemic and the national... lockdown period. Not only has it affected everyone on a personal level but it also had business related complications. So far we were fortunate enough to be able to continue our daily services to our patients although with skeleton staff at times. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the retirement of Dr. Topher Barker and Dr. Neels Joubert. They will be dearly missed but we respect their decision and wish them an enjoyable and well deserved retirement ahead. The above mentioned loss of manpower from Queen Street Surgery may result in the patient not always being able to see the doctor of their choice straight away. We kindly ask you to please be patient during these new uncertain times as we will do everything possible to accommodate you as far as we can, putting your health and comfort first. If it happens that the doctor cant see you at a specific time, please ask the reception to speak to the doctor telephonically or leave a message so that the doctor can call you back. The doctor may be able to squeeze you in or arrange a telephonic consultation. Under the Health Professions council of South Africa (HPCSA) we are allowed to do telephonic consultations. You can also register on our website. Follow the easy steps on the website from where you can book appointments and even order chronic medication.
