Quattro Stone and Tile offers Kamloops only 100% Digital Stone Fabrication Process, giving our customers the best possible final polish in the industry. Our team begins each job with a digital template of the specific site. This ensures the perfect fit to any wall that is bowed, dipped or out of square. We then input the template into our computer-... aided design (CAD) program, which gives us the chance to add the perfect shape for curves, radiuses, edges and sinks. This program is then given to the sawyer, who uses our Digital Bridge Saw to cut out your job layout on the slab you have selected. We take the time to ensure the size of the slab, as well as to ensure that the grains and patterns are used to their full potential. The next step in the process is to transfer the counters to our Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Router machine. This is where the counters are given their unique shape. Here, we are able to fabricate any piece - the perfect shape and curve - specific to your job. This machine helps us create any shape you desire. The CNC will polish the edges of your counters down to a honed finish. But we don't end the process there. We then hand polish each individual piece, a human touch that is so important to ensuring perfection. With this additional step, we can guarantee that your counters will have the best possible polish. Will I be able to see the seams in my Counter tops? At Quattro Stone and Tile, we strive to offer a virtually invisible seam. We dress out seams to a knife sharp edge that is straight and true to your cabinet gables. We then use our proprietary seam setters on-site to pull the stone together. There may be some slight variances in height between the two pieces once the seam is set.
