Since the closure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) Treatment Technology Centre at Auckland International Airport in 2002, QTC has been engaged by Ministry of Primar... y Industries (MPI) to carry out quarantine treatments to comply with strict import and export standards. QTC provides a range of services and are approved by the MPI for a variety of treatments. QTC is committed to continuous improvement both in New Zealand and aboard. We have worked closely with BOC Gas on the introduction of Vapormate into New Zealand as a viable alternative to methyl bromide for a wide range of products. Overseas our Technicians have assisted exporters and government departments in The Kingdom of Tonga, and undertaken the training of Quarantine Technicians for the Ministry of Agriculture in the Sultanate of Oman.
