Pyramid was distributed through WEA (Warner, Elektra, Atlantic) for seven years and since 2003, Pyramid has been distributed through Universal Music Group Distribution the largest music distributor in the world. In 2004, Pyramid released Bridge to Havana featuring Bonnie Raitt, Jimmy Buffett, Gladys Knight, Montell Jordan, Peter Frampton, Mick Flee... twood, Brenda Russell and more! The album went to #3 on the Billboard World Album Chart, the documentary was featured on PBS nationwide and the Gladys Knight single "Feelin' Good (Vacilon)" received extensive radio airplay. Also in that year, an album from urban songstress Lalah Hathaway was released and its single "Forever, For Always, For Love" went to #1 on the Urban A/C Radio chart, selling well over 100,000 units. Pyramid went on to release albums by rock legend Stephen Stills, hip hop legends Public Enemy, dancehall superstars Beenie Man and Anthony B, country music star Ty Herndon and Grammy-winning, Latin vocal star Jon Secada. Pyramid has revamped its strategy to now include all aspects of the entertainment world and plans to build a touring festival known as Groove Nation, which is a trademark owned by Pyramid. The festival will center on Rhythm and Blues' legendary artists, whose recording rights Pyramid will also acquire, along with certain other merchandising rights and will be the basis of a reality TV show, thereby guaranteeing exposure to all of its artists, additional sales of recorded music and artist and festival merchandise.
