Extraction Method - For thousands of years, people have been developing different ways to extract flavors, scents and medicines from plants. CO2 extraction uses CO2 gas, pressure, time and temperature to extract oils without leaving behind any dangerous solvents. CO2 extraction allows for a focus on specific molecules of the plant that one wants to... extract. When pressure, time and temperature are applied to CO2, this relatively inert, non-flammable gas becomes a supercritical fluid (SCF). As a SCF, CO2 can pass through solids like a gas, and dissolve materials like a liquid. Small changes in pressure or temperature result in changes in density , allowing many properties of the CO2 to be fine-tuned. This is how we are able to extract different molecules from the plant matter as it is pushed through high pressure and low pressure sections on our extraction tool. As the CO2 is temperature controlled back to its gaseous state and completely separate from the extract, all that remains is a shelf-ready, high quality, full spectrum oil. Full Spectrum - This is our primary extract which has a diverse cannabinoid profile, preserving all of the therapeutic cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids that occur naturally in hemp. This product provides the synergy that occurs through the interaction of cannabinoids, terpenoids and other compounds found in the whole cannabis plant. This is known as the Entourage Effect. Broad or Wide spectrum - This extract maintains the naturally-occurring cannabinoids and terpenes in the hemp and cannabis plant, except for THC. cannabinoids, terpenes and other plants oils and extracts. This can be created with or without THC. CBD isolate - This is our purest form of CBD. To produce this extract, CBD is isolated and then refined to strip out any additional cannabinoids, terpenes, and plant components found in the hemp plant.
