In 2009, we came across an HMRC approved offshore pension which provided numerous benefits over a standard UK pension. With no annual or lifetime limit, the ability to accept almost any asset of intrinsic value (including residential property) the ability for assets to grow capital gains tax free and pass onto the next generation inheritance tax fr... ee, no 55% recovery charge and no need to buy an annuity, this pension fund appeared to have everything a UK pension did not. In discussions with a number of professional advisors in the financial sector it was apparent there was an appetite for such options and we set about developing a portfolio of financial products, described throughout this website, many of which are unavailable on the high street. Pure Asset Management was set up in 2011 to bring these products to market. Our preferred route to the client is via advisors such as accountants, solicitors and IFAs, although we work with a number of other businesses and their client banks. We are also happy to talk to individual clients who have a need, but no preferred advisor in place. We work closely with technical specialists to verify the providence of the products, and these professional associates provide the advice required for informed decisions to be made. While promoting our more esoteric products it soon became apparent that due to the general distrust of large financial institutions there was also strong demand for mainstream financial products such as mortgages, commercial lending, accountancy and merchant services among others. As we spend our working lives developing relationships with such providers their products have naturally been added to create a more complete portfolio.
