Purdy Realty actually had its inception in 1955 when a predeces... sor company, Boulton & Welbourne was formed. In 1963, the brokerage discontinued and Welbourne Realty, Inc was established. During the fall of 1971, Welbourne Realty became Welbourne & Purdy Realty, Inc. and quickly developed into one of the top residential brokerage offices in Schenectady/Saratoga Counties in volume sales. After twenty-five years, the company merged with a large franchised real estate firm. Laura Conrad, former Vice President of Welbourne & Purdy Realty, Inc. and daughter of William J. Purdy, President, created Purdy Realty, LLC in January 1999. We offer all the advantages of a large firm, but with a small company atmosphere. We are part of the local communities and support them in a variety of ways. Purdy Realty is affiliated with the Greater Capital Association of Realtors and CIREB. We are also associated with the New York State Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Most importantly, we take a personal interest in each of our customers and clients. We draw on all of the resources and experience of our company to meet their individual needs.
