In 1988, McLaughlin Metal Sales e... xpanded their products offered by acquiring Grenada Fasteners, a small cold-heading plant in Mississippi. By November 1989, one more company was added in St. Louis, known today as Purchase Partners®. The initial purpose of the new company, Purchase Partners®, was to compliment the company's domestic manufacturing plant with a Full-Line Distribution Business supplying domestic and offshore products. The evolution of the company's business came one step further in 1991 by redirecting the company's business position from Commodity Supplier to one of Material Management Partner. Purchase Partners is fully committed to being the Leading Supply Partner for Vendor Managed Inventory Systems in the OEM market. Through all of the company's products, services and relationships, the company is committed to forging a unified and synchronized supply chain.
