PRECISION TOOLROOM SERVICES AND MACHINING LIMITED. Opened in 1998 with two people Peter Thompson and Stephen Metcalfe. The company has grown steadily over the last ten years, and now employs nineteen people. Starting off doing general toolmaking work, by employing toolmakers from different backgrounds, we now have the skills to cover semi-automatio... n, press tools, small mould tools, and gauge manufacture. We employ our own Design Engineer for jig, fixture and special tooling design, and have strong links with a company specialising in Automation. We work closely with a local fabrication company, and with our broad range of machinery, especially our CNC tools, we feel we can give a good all round service to any customer. Our customer base includes Cummins Engines and Emissions, Thyssenkrupp Tallent, NSK Steering Systems, Whessoe Controls, Filtronic, and work for BNFL through Kvaerner.
