Psychological Network, Inc. is offering an ongoing social skills training group for youth ages 8-11 (Group 1) and ages 12-14 (Group 2). The focus of the groups will be to assist youth to interact more appropriately, enhance verbal and non-verbal skills, learn anger management skills, recognize and manage distractions. The topics for the group will... include: Effective non-verbal communication skills Effective verbal communication skills Identify anger triggers Learn anger management skills Learn to delay reactions to situations Recognizing and management of distractions Friendship skills Social Skills development Prioritizing responsibilities The group will meet weekly for eight weeks with the option to continue group meetings.
