PSKOV State University is known as the centre of educational, cultural, scientific learning and the only Russian University bordering 3 states (Estonia, Latvia, and Belarus). Established in 1932, as a non-profit public government institution in the city of Pskov, Pskov Oblast, Russia. In 2011, by merging of it's five leading instititution of profes... sional education it becomes one of the 33 core universities in Russia, providing high level of training of specialists using innovative training methods along with the modern scientific research. The university has a team of scientists recognized not only in Russia but also abroad. More than 70% of the faculty has academic degrees and academic ranks. Training is carried out according to 179 educational programs, including 41 Bachelors programs, 9 Masters programs, 3 specialties of higher education, 23 post-graduate programs and 19 specialties of secondary vocational education. More than 10 thousand students study at the university, including more than 1300 foreign citizens from 41 countries of the world.
