As a native New Yorker, a product of public education, and an educator for 28 years, I cherish the opportunity to continue to be of service in pu... blic education alongside you. I started as a parent at PS 261 just like you, then grew into Principal over the years. Many of those years have been at my beloved 261. We hope that over time, you come to love being part of the PS 261 community as much as those of us who are returning for another school year do. At PS 261, staff, families and students work in each other's company, navigating through today's complex and shifting educational landscape through careful observation and thoughtful conversation.
