Investing in the quality of our local regions health care is the mission of Providence General Foundation, we fulfill this mission by raising funds to benefit Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. Through the stewardship of donor gifts, we support programs and services offered by Providence with special emphasis on reaching the most vulnerabl... e in our community, including low-income pregnant women and children with disabilities. Providence General Foundation is also dedicated to raising funds in support of new and improved technology to enhance medical excellence in heart care, pediatrics, cancer, vascular and emergency medicine. Today, Providence Everett is the second largest and one of the most advanced hospitals in the state. We also have one of the ten busiest single-site emergency departments in the state. Our growth in both size and capability has been accelerated by the shared investment of our community, providers and caregivers. Over the past 15 plus years, this investment has made transformational initiatives and advancements possible, including the Pavilion for Women & Children, Providence Regional Cancer Partnership, Cymbaluk Medical Tower, and Providence Boyden Family Autism Center. Nearly every patient we serve is touched by philanthropy in some way. Snohomish County is one of the fastest growing counties in the United States. Every day we are working to keep pace with this growth and continue to provide care that is unsurpassed. But as we work to meet demand, we must also continue to invest in the future. And thats what we are committed to do. In the next five years, Providence plans to invest more than $110 million in heart, neurosciences, cancer and trauma programs, while building out more patient rooms and surgical suites to ensure we can provide world-class care for our growing community.
