Proton is a small privately owned construction company that is incorporated in the state of New York but is certified to work in the states of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Since its inception in 1984 Proton has specialized in roofing projects but has performed a variety of other projects with equal skill and dedication. Proton's commitment is not only to bringing a job to completion but to maintain quality assurance during each phase of any said project. Part of our quality assurance program is to have the same people working for us year after year - Proton believes that the experience of its Engineers, Supervisors and Foremen are its best assets; there are no shortcuts to excellence. The Proton staff is qualified and certified to handle roofing, masonry, painting, and waterproofing. Along with teams of highly specialized and trusted subcontractors Proton also offers complete asbestos removal, electrical and carting services. Proton's two principals are completely hands-on - every project has their step-by-step attention (no matter how small or large the project may be). Founder and President Spyridon (Spiros) Garyfallis is a Master Engineer; he received both his Baccalaureate and Master's Degrees from the City College of New York. He has operated his own company since 1984 and has a total of 26 years of experience in the field. Co-owner and Secretary of the company, Athanasios Papasmiris has 34 years of experience and has supervised both private projects and specializes in Government, State and City projects. He has been certified for roof installation by some of the most prominent names in roofing manufacturers (Johns Manville, Siplast, Soprema, Carlisle and Trocal just to name a few); the NYC Fire Department for kettle operations also certified him for the aforementioned operations.
