Propeller Anime

Propeller Anime, Orlando's Mightiest Anime Club, was founded on October 22nd, 2006. Since that day, we evolved into an independent organization that anime fans in central Florida can look toward as one the best groups providing the hottest anime events and showings around. There are three goals for Propeller Anime. They are in order of importance:... 1.) To showcase great anime, from all genres and eras. 2.) To provide a fun, social environment for anime fans. 3.) To contribute to the local anime community by helping out at events and conventions. Once in a while we'll host events that are not anime viewings for our members. Our biggest event is our anniversary party in October, which is loaded with big raffle, live music, a costume contest, video game tournaments, and more. In November is our big outing to the Orlando Japan Festival. Other things we've done include arcades, bowling, videogames, barbecues, dodgeball, pool parties, and going to the theater to watch anime on the big screen. We host panels, contests, and other events at conventions in the southeast. Conventions we have been to include Anime Festival Orlando , Holiday Matsuri , MegaCon , Knightrokon , SwampCon , Otakon , and Anime Weekend Atlanta . Our list of events ranges all over the place, including It's MANIME! The Manly Anime Panel, Anime Ladies that Kick Ass, The Wicked World of Go Nagai, Essential Anime Classics (with 80s, 90s, Sci-Fi editions), Mecha Anime for Modern Fans, Getting Medieval on that Anime, Iron Cardboard Robot Cosplay, and more. For over twelve years we had anime showings monthly or bi-monthly at venues likes Bikkuri Lounge, The Geek Easy, Tatame Lounge, and Full Sail University.
