There is a lot of information available to the public about how "best" to care for their bodies when healthy and when struggling with pain or injury. Unfortunately, much of this information is not backed by the... most recent research and is instead based on outdated thoughts and beliefs about how our bodies function, what causes pain, and how best to help individuals get back to living the life they want. Also, many times the advice given is based more on the training that the individual giving the advice had, and not specifically what the individual patient needs based on their life style, symptoms, and goals. At ProMotion, we integrate the best available evidence and the clinician's experience with the patient's goals, to tailor a plan of care specific for each person we work with. This is done in a small 1:1 setting in which care is not constrained by insurance restrictions, overly busy schedules, and the patient seeing multiple providers.
