About Project SIGHT
Project SIGHT (Strengthening Identity and Growing in Hope Together), a non-profit coalition of Faribault and Northfield, seeks to prevent teen pregnancy through fostering community awareness, enhancing communication skills among youth and adults, and building the capacity for informed healthy decision-making. Established in 1992 under the direction of Church Women United with a three year grant from the Minnesota Teen Pregnancy Prevention Project, Project SIGHT continues to be a main voice for teen pregnancy prevention within our community. In 1996, Project SIGHT became an independent non-profit and continues to operate with the help of grants, community fundraising, and private donations. United Way funding from both Faribault and Northfield has been extremely valuable in financing programs and affirming community support.
