Project Morry

Project Morry is a nationally recognized, youth development organization that empowers youth from at-risk, economically challenged communities to envision a positive future. The program features: Academic enrichment programs during the school year, anchored by a superb character-building summer residential camp experience. One-on-one mentoring, and... emotional support, giving the company's youth, ages 9-18, the skills and confidence with which to pursue their vision, and achieve their life long goals. A 9 year commitment to each child, free of charge. An award-winning program that includes sequenced, age appropriate curriculum allowing for a seamless flow of learning and growth across the 9 year program Each child benefits from a network of support and gains increased social skills, enhanced self-esteem, positive core values and a greater sense of personal responsibility. Brandie Lee Johnson was a Project Morry Camper from 1996-2004, making her a part of the "Pioneers" group. After completing her camp experience, she returned as a counselor in 2005. By the Spring of 2009, she received her Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Theatre Education from SUNY Oneonta. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Theatre Education with a concentration in Colleges in Communities at New York University.Read More
