Project Child Save

Project Child Save is a new non-profit corporation, and a lifelong dream of Ty's. We have only just started, so there is little that we can provide to you at this time beyond an explanation of our purposes and intentions. We will be using money raised to assist when families can't find the money for the expenses of a recovery. We don't take pay, bu... t we need someone to pay the expenses. We will use donations to help us keep our training costs down. It costs around $20,000 to fully train one man. These men are normally charged $5,000 of that, and of course they then do recoveries for no pay. There are many day-to-day expenses, like phone and computer lines. We are covering these with donations as much as possible, but in some cases we have to pay for or reimburse these expenses. We are in need of office and field equipment, but are trying to have that donated. There are the costs of the investigations. We have a large group of licensed private investigators and other investigative professionals who volunteer their time and expertise. Most of the cost is absorbed by our volunteers as individuals, but we do on occasion need to reimburse larger amounts, such as those paid to informants. We have spoken to companies that raise funds for charity, but have rejected them because they take too large a percentage. To date, the only money Project Child Save has spent has been for phone services, and to reimburse a few hundred dollars in expenses. We feel that the money intended by donors to recover children should go toward that purpose alone, as much as is possible. To date, no one involved in Project Child Save, including Ty, has taken a salary. Our intention is to keep it that way as much as is humanly possible. Ty is very conscious of every dollar spent.
