Pro-Count, Inc. also supplies a premium performance service, which may be ordered by email. Premium service involves a very limited clientele, so we have not yet gone to the effort to set up a website front-end for it. Pro-Count, Inc. does not 'oversell' this service -- the number of clients for this service is strictly limited in order to maintain... consistent high performance. Up until recently, we have used this service only for our 'captive' clients (companies for whom we supply a complete turn-key website package, including web design, registration, and hosting) -- but recently, we had inquiries about using this service for eBay image hosting, and we set up an account type for this use. It has worked out very well, and because of the interest expressed in reliable high-performance image hosting, we are expanding it. We initially thought that 1 Gb transfer would be sufficient, but our experience has shown that very active sellers were running close to the limit, so we have increased the basic plan to 1.5 Gb. The basic image hosting plan should be plenty for most sellers (up to about 200 auctions per month), so it is not likely that you would need more storage and bandwidth. If you do, you can simply add as many increments of bandwidth and storage as you need. If you are using more than that for eBay auctions, you should ask us how you can compress your pictures to reduce bandwidth and speed up downloading. We also use this server for 'brochure' customers -- clients who need minimal storage and transfer (e.g., nonprofit service clubs, neighborhood associations, and other groups that want just a small inexpensive site for use by their members). As mentioned, the premium service is not oversold. That means that when the allotted premium service bandwidth is completely parceled out to Pro-Count, Inc. clients, no more will be sold until we can bring more server capacity online.
