He than transferd over to be a Deputy Sheriff for the State of Hawaii. Long earned a reputation for consistently achieving quality results while on special duty assignments. In 1986 Long took the plunge from Deputy Sheriff to business owner and started Private Security Group Inc. The goal was to bring professionalized security services to the Hawaii marketplace.
