Private Home Tutoring Services, LLC, is operated by A+ Tutoring, LLC. It was founded by Susan G. Taub in 2000, and is based in Bayside, New York. Ms. Taub has her BA from Hunter College and an MBA from Hofstra University. She holds 2 New York State certifications, for grades N-6 and for English as a Second Language. Ms. Taub has 10 years of experie... nce teaching in both the public and private school sectors. In addition, she has several years of hands-on private in-home tutoring experience, as well. At Private Home Tutoring Services, we want to provide assistance to a child (or adult) who needs extra help in one or more academic areas by pairing that student with a kind and caring professional teacher or experienced tutor who will give support to the student. Sue personally interviews and "vets" each tutor, and she selects only the most capable and qualified persons to work one-to-one with each student. Our aim is to help students build confidence and gain the academic skills needed to deal with the competitive pressures they face in school, and to achieve success in attaining their academic goals. Our tutoring team consists of professional certified teachers or experienced tutors who have proven themselves. They love to teach and take pride in seeing their pupil succeed in mastering the subject matter. Our tutors are flexible with scheduling, and so they will accommodate you and your child in selecting the best time and place to meet.
