PRINCE MOTOR CO was established in 1934 by Harold Prince, Sr. Out of the depression, there was no way to go but up and that is exactly what he did. He took on the Ford franchise label and began his journey of selling new and used vehicles. Harold Prince, Jr. was born in 1933 and began working at the dealership from age of twelve. Harold, Sr. and Ha... rold Jr. worked together for many years, being recognized by Ford as one of their top local and national dealers. Upon Harold Sr.s passing in 1986, Harold Jr. became the dealer principal and operated the Ford/Mercury Franchise until 1995. At that time he sold the Ford/Mercury franchise to a nearby dealer. Harold Jr. resumed full operation of Prince Motor Company in 1996 and has continued selling vehicles to many new and repeat customers. Harold Prince, III was born in 1970 and similar to his father, began working at the dealership at an early age. After college, Harold, III worked in various spectrums of the automotive industry, helping to expand his knowledge and broaden his vision of the business. In February 2010, Harold, III came back to Abbeville to continue to family legacy and build upon the foundation set by his grandfather and father. Harold, Jr. and Harold, III are currently working together to provide a little of the old and a little of the new to meet all car buyers needs.
