So much so that when the Great Depression actually did take hold of the nation, Georges Market continued to thrive, and did so for another generation! FAST FORWARD TO 1986 While the Red Sox and Patriots are both giving New England seasons to forget, a Third Generation of Georges give the area something to remember by opening The Prime Butcher in Windham, New Hampshire. Inspired by his fathers commitment to excellence that was ingrained in him since birth, Stephen George took the Butcher business to a new level, adding gourmet specialties, produce, and market items. AND NOW IN HAMPSTEAD A Fourth Generation has taken the reigns and opened the Prime Butcher at 201 Route 111, also known as The Hampstead Commons.
