Premiere PT is devoted to an interdisciplinary team approach in which we actively communicate with your referring physician in order for our patients to achieve the highest functional level possible. In maintaining this belief, Premiere PT shares an adjoining suite with Andrew Merritt, MD, DABPMR, a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician who has been practicing in the Southern Orange County area for 16 years. He brings to us expertise in the treatment of neck and back disorders as well as other soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries. He is an expert in providing comprehensive medical management of pain and also minimally invasive procedures to treat pain. Dr. Merritt co-manages your care with many referring specialty physicians ranging from family practice, internal medicine, rheumatologists, neurosurgeons, and orthopaedic specialists. With his specialized physical medicine background, Dr. Merritt will perform a comprehensive medical examination prior to initiating physical therapy. Dr. Merritt will subsequently determine an appropriate frequency and duration for therapy services and communicate any specific treatment protocols to the Premiere PT staff.
