Premier Patient Healthcare (Premier PHC) is an association of multiple physician-owned and physician-led Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) serving the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex, Texas and surrounding states. Formed in 2012 by a group of independent physicians, predominately primary care, who felt strongly that providers should be drivin... g the quality and care coordination of their patients, this like-minded group provides guidance, funding and leadership to local, independent physicians committed to improving the quality and outcome for their patients. Premier PHC encourages local, independent physicians to own and operate an ACO in their community thus creating a win-win for themselves and their patients as they increase the quality of care, bring down costs and generate greater revenue(s) for their practices. Our business model provides independent physicians 75% equity in the ACO for a token one ($1) dollar investment as well as revenue from ancillaries and reduced costs through group purchasing. More importantly, the upfront funding is already secured through Premier PHC's mangement partner, Sybrid MD. Physicians do not have to make a large investment or secure loans to create or join Premier PHC.
