I was doing high rep high weight kettlebell swings when on the downward swing, I felt something pop in my back. I knew this wasnt good, but my adrenaline was going, so I finished the workout. That night my back seized up on me and it was months before I could function normally again. I could barely walk. I could barely put on a pair of socks without excruciating pain. I went from being a high level physical competitor to needing help getting out of a chair. While it was an almost unbearable experience, it is one I am forever grateful for.
