Precision Biosensor

Before its establishment in 2015, the members of Precision Biosensor, engineering physicists, had developed the first Korean space payloads of astrophysics, which were the primary and secondary payloads of KITSAT-1, KITSAT-II launched in 2003. They also had developed UV spectrographic system for bio application in 2004, and continued to develop ana... lysis system for In-Vitro Diagnosis and immunoassay cassettes based on previous experience. For more than 10 years, the key subject of development tasks of our team was the immunoassay methodology and detection & measurement of tera-hertz photons with distinguished opto-mechanical and elecrto-optic technologies. Precision Biosensor has improved system technologies such as opto-mechanics, electronics and software in more efficient way after the establishment, and applied them to tera-hertz photon detecting system for the field of bio-medical, especially In-Vitro Diagnosis. The most powerful driver that enables Precision Biosensor to become a leader of developing bio-medical products for diagnosis, is its experienced technologies in immune-chromatography, imaging and measurement. Since 2015, Precision Biosensor started to develop a variety of TRF based immunoassay cassettes and analysis systems such as Exdia Troponin I TRF cassette and Exdia TRF imaging system based on its unique TRF readout and light guide solutions for imaging and light concentration. Precision Biosensor is also co-operating with major institutes and universities such as KAERI, KAIST, Seoul National University, to develop advanced diagnostics solutions based on TRF technology, and also has strategic alliance with other companies in USA, Japan and China to improve the performance of products and enter into the market.
