Positive Guidance

Mycheala is an established practitioner with over 20 years experience in child development. She started her career in early years, then, progressed through schools supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Her work has involved supporting pupils at risk of fixed term and permanent exclusion, with an inclusive approach... consisting of positive behaviour management strategies. Most recently, she has been advising schools on classroom management, whole school de-escalation, policies and procedures. Mycheala has been delivering Team-Teach courses for over 16 years with her advanced status. The courses are tailored and designed to focus on risk reduction with an emphasis on de-escalation. Mycheala demonstrates creativity with manageable strategies which is evident within various settings. Stephen is our intermediate Team-Teach instructor, working alongside his wife Mycheala, to enhance all training needs. Stephen has excellent skills within the practical elements of the courses, where he demonstrates a range of positive handling techniques throughout. Stephen is on hand all day to ensure that learners are supported as individuals, feel comfortable throughout the day and helps to build learners confidence when developing new skills. Following training courses, Stephen provides ongoing assistance in settings if needed with any of the practical elements learnt throughout the course to keep practitioners supported. Aimee is an established practitioner in the educational sector, working as a secondary school teacher, specialising in Music and SEND Maths. Alongside her job, Aimee is responsible for web design, news updates and marketing. Aimee is a great asset at Positive Guidance Ltd in this modern digital world. Bethan assists at Positive Guidance with general administration alongside working in the canine industry. Bethan reviews the company paperwork and updates where needed.
