Pos Shop

Pos Shop Pty Ltd was started in 2003 when we opened a shopfront in Auchenflower in Brisbane. At that time Pos Shop was spun out from Gripon Australia Pty Ltd which had previously 8 years of barcoding and POS history. Pos Shop was set up to service the needs of end User customers with shopfitting consumables, Barcoding, labels and label printers. In... 2006 we moved to Yeerongpilly. In 2009 we recognised the need for a short run label manufacturer and bought our first label cutting machine. "Lola the roller" as she became affectionally known still serves us well for our short run needs and was joined a second much larger machine "Henry" (as we call him) in 2012 which allows us to produce long runs of labels in a short amount of time. Lola and Henry worked together to produce both short and long run labels. When the floods hit Brisbane in 2010 we were forced to move temporarily for 2 months whilst our premises were repaired. We lost a lot of stock to the flood and this also motivated us to move into labels and labelling as our main product lines. In 2013 we decided it was time to introduce our new trading name to reflect our change in the business makeup. All About Labels was born, same people, same premises, same company, same experience. We also added two new label machines to our growing family. One is named Ringo and one is named Jeremy. One of our staff is a keen Beatles fan and named both machines, Jeremy was a character out of the Yellow Submarine apparently! In 2014 we also added Roger who is a hot foil label printer/cutter. This allows us to do special printed labels using foils etc. in 2017 we added Barb. Barb helps Ringo with his work, Barabara Bach is Ringo Starr's partner.
