Pometis Technology helps oil and gas operators to screen and optimize EOR projects in shale oil reservoirs, allowing them to recover 50% more oil at 10% the cost of a new well. Pometis combines its technology and domain expertise in gas injection to deliver on this value proposition. Since inception, the company has built a prototype software tool, achieved proof of concept, built relationships with field injection service partners, and submitted provisional patents. The company is in negotiation with its first customer. Our unique technique predicts the behavior of oil and gas in tight formations. This behavior deviates significantly from conventional models (something well-discussed in the literature) and results in large errors in performance prediction (as large as 20%.).
