Polysil began its journey in 1985 when its founder, Mr Frank Evans, set up the business. Putting in some serious miles, Frank soon began to develop a loyal customer base. In 1993 his son Damian (the current Managing Director) was invited to come on board. Originally based in Southport, the business moved into larger premises on the Wirral, in 1996.... Adapting to ever changing market needs, the original RTV silicone rubber portfolio expanded to include polyurethanes and polyester resins. In 2007 we were appointed as an Official Distributor for the Jesmonite range of water based resins. Due to a crossover with GRP used in the roofing industry, in 2009 the company launched its roofing supplies arm see www.clickroofing.co.uk for more information. More recently responding to the needs of our customers in 2014 a bespoke mould making service was established. 2015 saw a new range of materials added for the rapidly growing Film &TV industry, centred in the North of the UK. 2017 / 2018 saw us continue to develop exciting and innovative water based rubber polyurethane coatings for the roofing and theme park industries. 2019 marks the development of some exciting new green technologies. We pride ourselves on supplying innovative products and solutions to our customers in the creative arts industry.
