Born in South Bend, Indiana (home of Notre Dame, and yes, a "Hoosier"), he graduated from Indiana State University in 1972 with a degree in Speech and Language Pathology. Soon after graduation, David took a position with a large LI school district and established a Speech and Language Therapy program. Moving from Indiana to New York was at first a... "culture shock," but David soon fell in love with the beauty and vitality of Eastern Long Island. Having summers free, he found opportunities to do home improvement projects for friends and co-workers as well as work toward earning his Real Estate brokerage license. David soon found that his talents as a Builder and R.E. Broker proved more fruitful and gave greater enjoyment than his chosen profession. And in 1977 he incorporated POINTS EAST Real Estate and Construction. He has been building homes and brokering properties ever since. David is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience. He is intimately familiar with building and zoning codes, and land use issues; as well as being an accredited home inspector. As a Professional Builder and Broker, David has always tried to keep it simple by choosing and maintaining a more intimate and accountable hands on approach to his business.
