PMCM-TV, LLC has corporate offices located in Neptune, New Jersey, and its television operations are located in Freehold, NJ. PMCM-TV owns and operates WJLP Channel 3, licensed in Middletown, New Jersey (serving the New York TV market). As background, in November of 2008 PMCM-TV acquired the license for KVNV in Las Vegas. In 2012, local programming was added, including public affairs and childrens programs. PMCM-TV also purchased KJWY in June of 2009 and was licensed in Jackson, Wyoming. It was the lowest powered full service analog station (178 watts) in the United States and tied for first for the lowest powered full-service analog station in North America. After several months off air, broadcasting resumed in August as a This TV affiliate. In 2012, the station became an affiliate of Memorable Entertainment Television (Me-TV.) In March of 2013, the call letters were changed to KJWP. In the meantime, the onset of the Digital Transition and Public Safety Act of 2005 resulted in a lack of a full power television station in both New Jersey and Delaware in 2009 as there were no VHF stations in those states. To fill that void, soon after its purchase of the television stations, PMCM-TV sought to relocate KVNV from Las Vegas to Monmouth County, New Jersey, and KJWY from Jackson, Wyoming to Wilmington, Delaware. The request was denied the by the Federal Communications Commission (the FCC) in December of 2009. However, due to a loophole that allows VHF stations to move to states with no FCC-licensed commercial VHF stations, the denial was reversed by the U.S Federal Court of Appeals in December of 2012, leaving PMCM-TV free to pursue its goal of providing the residents of those states with the television stations to which they are entitled.
