In respo... nse to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's clarion call of 'Make in India' initiative, PLR has established a State-of-the-Art Small Arms manufacturing facility at Malanpur Industrial Area, Gwalior, MP. PLR is proud to be the first private sector company that was granted license by Govt of India for manufacturing of Small Arms and Ammunition. PLR has begun manufacturing of the complete range of IWI Weapons at its facility and has commenced supply of weapons to multiple state police and Central Armed Police Forces. The first set of Indian Manufactured X95 Assault Rifles were manufactured from the plant in Oct 2018. PLR has also established the Gunsmith Shop and an Opto Electronic Laboratory to carry out the Maintenance, Repair and Overhauling (MRO) of Small Arms and Weapon Sights.
