About Pleasantview
With the first residents move to Pleasantview in 1958, thus began a relationship with the community that has for more than six decades provided much-needed elderly care services. Through the years, those services expanded, regulations increased, building projects ensued; and through it all, exemplary care continued to be offered. Our official name is the Iowa Mennonite Benevolent Association (IMBA), doing business as (dba) Pleasantview. It began as an effort among local Mennonite and Amish ministers, governed by those same ministers under the (legal) IMBA umbrella. A contest was held to actually name the facility, with Pleasantview Home selected. In 2020 the Home was dropped from the name.Explore more
