Since 1988, when Karen Castonguay acquired her first small butter churn, Pleasant Acres has devoted itself to creating the finest tasting product under the name of Maine County Butter. Using two simple ingredients, cream and sea salt, our homemade butter is perfectly churned for baking or spreading. Pleasant Acres is a family owned and operated business nestled in the hills of Livermore Falls, Maine. Unlike the big butter giants, who make millions of pounds of butter a year, we focus on creating small batches. That way you are tasting the better butter difference.
